Read seeds as two different products
Spring makes the pattern obvious, and the other seasons repeat it. Cheap seeds grow once and pay a lump sum. Expensive seeds cost roughly 300t, take about five days, then regrow every three days for the rest of the season — so their value depends entirely on how many harvests are left before it ends.
| Crop | Seed | Grow | Regrow | Sells for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cabbage | 70t | 9 days | — | 180t |
| Carrot | 40t | 6 days | — | 80t |
| Potato | 40t | 6 days | — | 75t |
| Turnip | 25t | 4 days | — | 40t |
| Strawberry | 300t | 5 days | 3 days | 125t |
| Peas | 300t | 5 days | 3 days | 135t |
| Tulip | 20t | 6 days | — | 30t |
| Daffodil | 15t | 4 days | — | 25t |
Plant regrowing crops early in a season, not late
A 300t regrowing seed planted on day 1 of a season has room for many harvests; the same seed planted on day 20 may not repay itself. Late in a season, switch back to one-harvest crops that finish before the last day.
Animal products scale with hearts, not with herd size
Animal happiness runs to ten hearts and is raised by petting and hand-feeding in clear weather. From eight hearts there is a chance of golden products, and at ten hearts golden products are guaranteed. A small, well-cared-for barn out-earns a large neglected one.
The mines pay in two currencies
Ore sells, but the more valuable output is what the ore unlocks. Gems drop from the ore clods in each biome at a listed 5% — ruby in the Upper Mines, sapphire in the Tide Caverns, emerald in the Deep Earth, diamond in the Lava Caves — and the Ancient Ruins add pink diamonds at 5% with perfect pink diamonds at 1%.
Processing is a time trade, not free money
Cooking and the Mill turn cheap inputs into more valuable goods, but they cost kitchen access, skill levels and real in-game minutes. Process what you already have a surplus of; do not farm inputs specifically to process them until Cooking is high enough for the higher-star recipes.
Claims we deliberately left out
Several popular money guides quote crops, fertilisers and weekly market bonuses that we could not confirm against the current build or an official source. Rather than repeat them, this page sticks to values that are checkable in game.
