Three things raise Renown
Donating to the museum, shipping items, and completing quests. That is the whole list — which is why the museum and the shipping bin are not side activities but the main progression loop wearing a hat.
The eleven ranks
Ranks are named after the game’s own material tiers, which makes them easy to remember: the town levels up through the same metals your tools do.
| Rank | Renown |
|---|---|
| Wood | 0–5 |
| Stone | 10–15 |
| Copper | 20–25 |
| Ruby | 30–35 |
| Iron | 40–45 |
| Sapphire | 50–55 |
| Silver | 60–65 |
| Emerald | 70–75 |
| Gold | 80–85 |
| Diamond | 90–95 |
| Mistril | 100 |
Collect your rewards — they do not come to you
Each of the 100 Renown levels has a reward, and those rewards sit in a chest near the Request Board. They are not delivered automatically, so it is worth checking the chest whenever you pass it; players who never open it can be dozens of rewards behind.
Thresholds worth planning around
Copper rank at Renown 20 unlocks the mine entrance, and Ruby rank at Renown 30 opens the “Apiaries and Terrariums” story quest. Later thresholds continue to release story content up to Renown 100, which version 1.0 raised from the previous cap and which completes the town repair storyline.
