How to get hay
Hay can be refined from Stone at the Stone Refinery, bought from Hayden’s Shop, or found in Balor’s rotating wagon stock. Keep it for animal feed, requests, and woodcrafting rather than treating it as a high-value sale item.
How to unlock and use the Auto Feeder
Reach Ranching level 45, then buy an Auto Feeder from Hayden’s Shop for 5,000t. It belongs in a Large Barn or Large Coop and fills troughs each morning from stored edible items. The exact item-to-feed conversion rules are still marked incomplete by the community source, so they are not reproduced here as settled data.
Where the crafting table is
Woodcrafting uses a Crafting Station. Public stations sit beside the Bell Tower and in front of the Carpenter and can be used at any Woodcrafting level. You can also buy one from the Carpenter for 1,000t.
Can you give Mimics items?
Yes. Throw a valid item near a dormant Mimic to avoid combat; the Mimic consumes it, drops biome-linked loot, and disappears. Confirmed categories include artifacts, bugs, cooked dishes, crops, fish, forageables, furniture, and materials. Exact loot tables remain incomplete for some biomes.
