The game opens but feels slow
Use the lag and low-FPS guide. Record whether the problem is constant, appears after entering a new area, or only happens with an overlay or external program active.
A save is missing or must be moved
Use the save-files guide and copy the entire save folder before renaming, replacing, or deleting anything. Beta-branch saves require special care.
Start with the official steps every time
The developer’s own troubleshooting page lists the checks worth doing first: confirm your system meets the minimum requirements on the Steam page, update your graphics drivers and your operating system, and make sure the game is using the correct graphics card.
